LaChance Brothers Excavating

Family-Owned Since 1956

LaChance Brothers Excavating was founded in 1956 by Donald LaChance. He excavated for single-family residential homes in Washtenaw County and Livingston County. From the early days until today there has been a LaChance at the helm.

We focus on single-family residential work in Washtenaw County and Livingston County. In the past 65 years we’ve had extensive experience in septic tank installations and drainfield solutions, as well as almost every form of residential excavating. During Gary LaChance's 40 years at the helm, we installed over 10,000 new septic systems.

Standard drain fields, special condition drain fields, engineered drain fields, stoneless drain fields, pump systems, and pressure systems are just a few of the onsite sewage disposal fields we’ve installed. Every permit is different, and each customer’s needs are unique. When your septic tank needs pumping or replacement, you can count on having the job done right by an experienced, friendly expert.

John is now the third generation of the LaChance family running our business – after having 20 years of on-the-job training with his family. He is the contact person for septic services and excavation. He’ll be at your job site to ensure that the job meets the highest standards and gets done according to your needs.

Call us today for fast, friendly service – whether you need your septic tank pumped, a new septic installed, or a basement excavated. We can’t wait to meet you!
